The quaint village of Blatten, with its wooden houses covered with stone slabs and blackened by the sun, as well as the characteristic Valais granary, is the ideal starting point for winter sports on the snow-sure Belalp or for excursions throughout the Valais.
We are already looking forward to the coming winter and to seeing you - come to us and spend relaxing days in the middle of the Valais Alps near the Great Aletsch Glacier!
UNESCO World Heritage Site
The UNESCO World Heritage Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch is one of the most spectacular mountain landscapes in the Alps and an impressive example of alpine mountain formation. With an area of 824 square kilometers, it covers almost the entire Bernese Alps with their monumental rock massifs in the cantons of Bern and Valais. The Jungfrau-Aletsch World Heritage represents the wonderful natural beauty of the Alps.
The UNESCO World Heritage visitor center is just a five-minute walk from Brig train station. In the World Nature Forum, you will receive the tools you need to find your way around the World Heritage site. In the interactive exhibition, you can immerse yourself in the exciting and diverse world of glaciers and high mountains, flora and fauna, and alpine tourism.

Since 2018, our PV system has been producing part of our electricity needs for us and our hotel guests. The thermal solar system also helps us produce hot water. Solar energy is a BIG priority for us.
